63. Mary DAVENPORT was born on 17 Jun 1741 in Hanover Co., Virginia. She died on 17 Jun 1796 in Burke Co., North Carolina. After Mary's death, William Wiseman married Lydia Bedford and fathered seven more children: Bedford, b. 1Oct1799; Alexander, b. 28Mar1802; Jemima, b. 6May1804; Josiah, b. 31Jul1806; Elizabeth, 25Apr1809; Lydia, 25May1812; and Anthony Senter, b. 9Feb1814. Note that, on occasion, another child (Nancy) is identified as a Wiseman daughter. An examination of a copy of the original family ledger listing family births strongly suggests that Nancy was, at most, a granddaughter and not a daughter.
